Leigh is a Director in the Civil Litigation Department at Van der Spuy & Partners where she heads up the Magistrates' Court litigation division. She provides general litigation services to clients in both the private and public sector.

Leigh grew up in Langebaan where she matriculated from Hopefield High School in 2004. She furthered her studies at Stellenbosch University and after obtaining her LL.B degree in 2008, she spent six months working in London and travelling throughout Europe.

Leigh joined the Van der Spuy family as a candidate attorney in July 2009 and has been with us ever since, quickly climbing the corporate ladder from professional assistant in 2011 to director in 2015.

Leigh’s attention to detail and her no-nonsense approach in her representation of clients makes her an excellent litigant, a favourite with clients and a revered adversary in court.

Leigh is passionate about travelling and experiencing new countries and cultures. She is also a dog lover and regards her Boerboel as part of her family.
